Breeder Placement & Communication Policies
Right of Refusal The well-being of every Carsten’s Chihuahua puppy is my highest priority. Previous purchases, deposits, applications, or past interactions do not guarantee approval for a future puppy. Each placement decision is made individually with the puppy’s long-term welfare in mind. I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a puppy placement at any time if I believe the home may not be the best fit for the puppy. Respectful Communication Carsten’s Chihuahuas values respectful and professional communication with all prospective and current puppy families. Questions are always welcome, and I am happy to provide guidance for the puppies I place. However, abusive language, harassment, threats, repeated unwanted contact, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. If this occurs, I reserve the right to immediately end communication and decline or cancel any current or future puppy placement. Accuracy & Representation To protect the integrity of my breeding program, I do not permit the misrepresentation of advice, policies, or care instructions that were not provided directly by me. Statements that do not accurately represent my guidance or breeding practices may result in the refusal of future puppy placements and the termination of breeder support. Clear and truthful communication helps ensure the best outcomes for the puppies and the families who love them. |

Terms of the Deposit:
Deposits are only accepted from pre-qualified families. Once you place a deposit, it is non-refundable. The only reason for a refund is if your puppy should get injured or die while in our care. It is agreed that the deposit will be received through an approved method within a defined timeframe. The purpose of the deposit is that we are promising to care and hold your puppy and keep you informed of its growth and you are promising to bring it home when the puppy is ready to leave our care. Your final payment should be sent within 3 days of your puppy’s delivery date unless you are coming here to pick it up.
