Sometimes we have adults that we have retired or pulled from our breeding program. This could be related to their health, quality offspring, as well as, age.

Retiring Our Grown-Ups With Love
Over the past 30 years, I’ve had to say goodbye to a few of my wonderful moms and dads as they retired from parenthood. It's never easy to let them go, because these dogs are truly my family. When they retire, they go to approved homes that I screen incredibly carefully—just like I do for my puppies. My biggest goal is to make sure they go on to live a life exactly like the one they’ve always known here: lounging right next to you on the couch inside, and soaking up the sun playing in the yard outside.
Because these grown-ups already have my whole heart wrapped around them, my process for adopting an adult may seem to be a bit more strict than it is for a puppy. I just need to be 100% certain they are going into a home where they will still be treated as a deeply loved, central part of the family. They deserve nothing less than to be completely spoiled!
